AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Inland Northwest Opera announces open auditions for their 2026 production of Die Fledermaus.
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
Production Dates: September 11-13, 2026 (Next year)
Rehearsal Dates:
Principles begin Aug 29, 2026 and rehearse both daytime and weekday/weekends. Chorus begins Sept 5, 2026 and will only rehearse nights and weekends.
Salary Details: This is a paid position.
AUDITION INFORMATION
Audition Date: October 18th, 2025 (This year - next month)
At: Opportunity Presbyterian Church, 202 N Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA.

AUDITION REPERTOIRE
All pieces must be performed from memory.
For Main Stage Roles, Covers, and Understudies:
Prepare 3 selections in multiple languages and styles. One piece must be in German. Be prepared to read a short dialogue excerpt in English.
For Ensembles and Chorus, (Chorus is an active, acting part of the opera)
Please prepare two pieces, preferably with one song or aria in German
PIANIST AND FEES:
A pianist will be provided. There is no audition or pianist fee, although singers may tip the pianist. Singers have the option of using their own accompanist and should email info@inlandnwopera.org in advance of the audition.
BRING TO AUDITION:
- A physical copy of your resume
- A print of your head shot photo
- A copy of the score for each of your pieces
